May 25, 2026 14:20 UTC

AI Agents

GPT-5.5 vs Claude Opus 4.7: Which Model Actually Wins for Real Work?

The short version

After digging through the benchmark data, launch materials, and third-party reporting, the picture looks pretty clear.

If your work looks like autonomous execution across tools, terminals, documents, and messy workflows, GPT-5.5 looks like the stronger pick. If your work is d...

GPT Image 2 Just Crushed Nano Banana 2 by 242 ELO Points. The Image AI Race Is Over.

OpenAI’s new image model did not just take the top spot on the text-to-image leaderboard. It blew the doors off it.

On LM Arena’s text-to-image rankings, GPT Image 2 jumped to 1512 ELO, while the previous best — Gemini 3.1 Flash Image Preview, better known as Nano Banana 2 — sat at 1270...

Why Frontier AI Labs Are Moving Up the Stack — And Coming for the Application Layer

For the last two years, the entire AI industry has been obsessed with the model layer.

Who has the best benchmark? Who has the biggest context window? Who is cheaper per token? Who just released the new frontier model?

That story is still important. But it is no longer the whole story.

The real s...

Anthropic Killed the All-You-Can-Eat AI Era: What Claude's Pricing Shift Actually Means

Anthropic just pulled the plug on all-you-can-eat AI.

If you have been paying $20 or $200 a month for Claude and treating it like an unlimited buffet, that era is officially over. The company has quietly — and then not so quietly — restructured how it charges for Claude, and the implications are ma...

Meta Drops the Muse Spark Bomb: Everything That Just Changed in the AI Race

So Zuckerberg spent $14.3 billion buying half of Scale AI, hired its CEO Alexandr Wang, poached researchers from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google, and told them all to build something that would make people stop laughing at Llama. Nine months later, they shipped.

Muse Spark just dropped. Meta stock ri...

Anthropic Built an AI That Can Hack Every Major OS and Browser. They Refused to Release It.

Anthropic just did something no AI lab has done before. They built a model so capable that they decided not to release it.

Claude Mythos Preview is not available on any API. You cannot access it through Claude.ai. There is no waitlist. The model exists, it works, and Anthropic is keeping it locked ...

The Great IT Reset: AI Is Rewriting the Rules of Employment

Nearly 100,000 tech workers have lost their jobs in the first quarter of 2026. That is not a typo. Across 146 layoff events, the industry is averaging over 1,000 job losses per day. And unlike previous cycles, the companies doing the cutting are not struggling. They are thriving.

This is what a str...

Claude Code Ultraplan: Why Planning in the Cloud Changes Everything

If you have used Claude Code's plan mode, you know the drill — type your prompt, wait while Claude thinks, review the plan in your terminal, then execute. It works, but for complex tasks it locks your terminal for minutes and gives you a wall of text to review in scrollback.

Ultraplan flips this. I...

Harness Design for AI Agents: Where Real Agent Engineering Begins

People often talk about models as if the model is the product. It isn’t.

A capable model without a harness is like a brain in a jar: impressive, but not very useful in production. It cannot reliably manage state, recover from fail...
